A quick overview of the project :
The Cosmetic Burn Hospital in Baqubah (31-bed capacity + 2 operating rooms) is one of the projects secured following participation in EXPOmed 2024. Interest in the operating room products—particularly the control screen—led to expansion of the scope to include the capsule system and complete cladding of the ORs.
Following a coordination meeting between the engineering team of YOSRA Trade – Medical service Ltd. Co. and the engineering team of Al-Barqa’a Company, responsible for on-site installation, both parties were approved as compliant suppliers according to UNDP standards.
What is the Capsule System for Operating Rooms?
The capsule system is a modern solution for equipping operating rooms using prefabricated panels for walls, ceilings, and floors made from anti-bacterial and easy-to-clean materials such as stainless steel or HPL.
The room is designed as an integrated unit containing lighting, ventilation systems, medical gas outlets, and control panels—allowing for fast installation, high hygiene levels, and easy maintenance. This system improves the surgical environment, reduces infection sources, and provides flexibility for future modifications or expansions.
